As announced by SMS Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications & Information, at the Singapore International Cyber Week 2020, CSA is introducing the Singapore Cyber Educators programme with the objective of growing a pool of passionate educators who are able to groom the next generation of cybersecurity talents among the youths.

Led by CSA in collaboration with partners from the cybersecurity industry and academia, the programme targets to reach out to principals, teachers and school career counsellors, and provide them with opportunities for exposure to knowledge on cybersecurity and its career opportunities. This programme also aims to bridge the training gap between academia and industry, and help produce more cybersecurity graduates who are industry-ready.

This is part of CSA’s efforts to reinforce the cybersecurity talent pipeline under the SG Cyber Talent initiative. Details of the programme was shared at the inaugural virtual Singapore Cybersecurity Education Symposium (SCES) held in November 2020. More resources can be accessed below.
