Passionate about cybersecurity and ready for a chance to compete on the world stage?
The SG Cyber Olympians (SGCO) programme aims to identify, recruit, and nurture top talents to excel in cybersecurity and at top international cybersecurity competitions. Beyond building a talented pool of representatives for Singapore, this programme is part of SG Cyber Talent, a broader initiative to maintain a strong pipeline of skilled cybersecurity professional for the industry.
First launched in 2022, 50 participants were enrolled and trained to compete in Capture-the-Flag (CTF) competitions. The next phase of SGCO is back with enhanced training and expanded sponsorship opportunities for participants to build deeper cybersecurity expertise.
Successful participants can look forward to the following:
Personalised learning pathways and training curricula to build deeper cybersecurity expertise
Cyber sparring sessions and bespoke workshops to hone skills in realistic cybersecurity scenarios
Enrolment in professional cybersecurity certifications
Represent Singapore at international CTF competitions
Overseas exchange programmes and conferences
Participation in this programme is free-of-charge!
Who can apply?
• Singapore Citizen
• 18 years old and above
• Intermediate to advanced cybersecurity knowledge
• CTF experience is a plus
Participants of this programme must have access to a personal laptop with the following specifications:
• i7 intel processor or equivalent
• 8GB of RAM DDR4
• 256 GB SSD Hard Drive
• Webcam capabilities
Strong and stable Internet connection is necessary for participation in CTF challenges and training.

Shortlisted participants will be contacted by CSA or an appointed third-party programme manager for further assessment which includes:
Stage 1 - CTF Challenge (30 Jan, 9.30am - 12pm or 8 Feb, 9.30am - 12pm)
Stage 2 - CTF Challenge (13 Feb, 12pm - 6pm or 15 Feb, 12pm - 6pm)
Stage 3 - Interview (To be held in Mar 2026)
Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to proceed to the next stage of the selection.
