"Stop and Check" Campaign
Stay cyber-secure and scam-safe through the adoption of CSA’s Cyber Tips.
CSA’s sixth National Cybersecurity Campaign, “Stop and Check” was launched in September 2025.

The campaign highlights the importance of taking a cognitive break – to pause and check if unsolicited requests and messages are real, before acting. Many of us act in haste when triggered by panic and fear, making us vulnerable to scams and cyber threats. By taking a moment to stop and check with official sources, family and friends, we can better protect ourselves from falling prey to cybercriminals out to steal our hard-earned money and data.
Fronting CSA’s campaign is Jaga the Cybersecurity Hedgehog, who reminds us to "Stop and Check" with his distinctive red “Stop” sign. Jaga now plays a pivotal role as the new national mascot for cybersecurity to encourage everyone to practice good cyber hygiene and key cybersecurity tips!
