Singapore Renews MOU on Cybersecurity Cooperation with Australia

Singapore and Australia renewed their 2017 cybersecurity MoU to expand information sharing, joint exercises, and training. The deal focuses on regional capacity building and innovation to tackle an increasingly complex cyber landscape.
1 Singapore and Australia have renewed the 2017 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cybersecurity cooperation, to further strengthen and expand cooperation and information sharing.
2 The MOU was signed by Mr David Koh, Chief Executive, Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, and Dr Tobias Feakin, Ambassador for Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia.
3 The MOU will promote cooperation in (a) information exchange and sharing; (b) joint cybersecurity exercises; (c) training to develop awareness and skills; (d) sharing of best practices and promoting innovation; (e) regional confidence-building measures; and (f) regional capacity building.

This MOU will facilitate more opportunities for both countries to work together to contribute to a secure and resilient cyberspace. We are excited to drive this cooperation forward."
