Plans For Establishment Of Cyber Resilience Centre To Provide Support To Organisations
Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, announced plans for the establishment of a Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) at the Singapore International Cyber Week 2025. Supported by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), the CRC will be operated by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) in partnership with other trade associations, including the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) and SGTech. It will serve as a central node to help organisations such as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) strengthen their cyber defences and provide recovery assistance when incidents happen to them.
2. As businesses in Singapore accelerate digitalisation, cyber risks are rising in scale and complexity. More than 8 in 10 organisations experience a cybersecurity incident annually[1].

3. Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) are well-positioned as trusted champions for businesses, including SMEs, to promote awareness, readiness, and resilience in cybersecurity. As the apex chamber in Singapore, the SBF is well-placed to lead key founding members such as the SCCCI and SGTech, to run the CRC.
4. Key CRC functions and activities being planned include:
i A staffed incident helpline,
ii Cybersecurity health clinics that include diagnostic sessions for SMEs to assess their current cybersecurity posture,
iii Assistance to improve their cybersecurity measures through CSA’s CISO as-a-Service programme, as well as;
iv Cyber drills to equip SMEs with incident response recovery know-how.
5. The CRC aims to improve cyber resilience among organisations in Singapore and encourage more public-private partnerships. This will in turn strengthen organisations’ trust and confidence in their digitalisation journey. Sited within the SBF’s premises, the CRC is expected to be operational in 2026.
