CSA and Cisco Systems Sign Memorandum of Collaboration to Establish a Framework for Cybersecurity Cooperation

CSA and Cisco signed a two-year Memorandum of Collaboration (MOC) to strengthen Singapore’s cybersecurity. Key focus areas include threat information sharing and talent development, building on previous training initiatives. Signed in San Jose, this partnership formalizes a mutual framework for cooperation to boost regional cyber capabilities and exchange strategic ideas.

1 The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) and Cisco Systems, Inc have signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MOC) to formalise a mutual framework for cooperation in the cybersecurity domain, which will see closer partnerships in the areas of information sharing and capability development. The MOC builds upon CSA’s past collaborations with Cisco, which include training initiatives under Singapore’s ASEAN Cyber Capacity Programme.
2 Under the MOC, both parties committed to enhance information sharing on the cyber threat landscape and boost efforts to facilitate the exchange of ideas and develop talent. The MOC will last for a period of two years.
3 The MOC was signed by Mr Gabriel Lim, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Communications and Information on behalf of CSA, and Ms Liz Centoni, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco's Internet of Things Business Group. The signing ceremony took place at Cisco’s Headquarters in San Jose, California.
