Critical Vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSIEM

Attackers can exploit a critical vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSIEM to execute arbitrary code. Patch immediately.

Background

Fortinet has released security updates to address a critical vulnerability (CVE-2026-106173) affecting Fortinet FortiSIEM. The vulnerability has a Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS v3.1) score of 9.8 out of 10. 

Impact

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an unauthenticated attacker to execute unauthorised code or commands on affected systems, potentially resulting in the compromise of these systems.

Known Exploitation

A proof-of-concept exploit is publicly available.

Affected Products

The vulnerability affects Fortinet FortiSIEM version 7.5.0.

Recommendations

Users and administrators of affected products are advised to update to FortiSIEM version 7.5.1 or later immediately.
