Critical Vulnerability in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View Machine Edition

Rockwell Automation has released security updates addressing a critical vulnerability (CVE-2025-24480) affecting their FactoryTalk View Machine Edition. The vulnerability has a Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSSv3.1) score of 9.8 out of 10.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute privileged commands and perform remote code execution.

The vulnerability affects all versions of FactoryTalk View Machine Edition prior to version 15.

Users and administrators of affected products are advised to update to the latest versions immediately.
